 Process​ 

 

  

We encourage you to take a look at the information on this page,

as it will answer some of the commonly asked questions. 

 

General Information

 

  • Classes are offered on a weekly basis for preschool through senior high students with a focus on those working to meet PA graduation requirements.

 

  • Families must have at least one child age 6 or older by Dec 1st of that year in order to join S&L.

 

  • Salt & Light Co-Op meets on Fridays from Sept. through May 

  • There are four regularly scheduled hour-long classes from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm, with a thirty-minute lunch break from 11:30-12:00; senior volleyball is from 2:00-3:30 p.m.  

 

  • In order to work or volunteer with children, we ask all adults to obtain clearances. 

 

 

 

Once you have decided that you would like to join Salt and Light Co-Op

 

  • fill out the application

    • Be prepared to fill out your (and your spouse's) personal testimony

    • Ask your pastor/priest for a reference letter for your family

 

 

  • In order to work or volunteer with children, everyone is required to obtain clearances.

    • Child Abuse History Clearance (CY113)

    • Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Checks for Employment (SPA-164) or Volunteers (SPA-164A)

    • Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Fingerprinting.
